I cannot begin to understand this pasty tax issue, how is it more important that the 50p tax issue. (Both articles are from the same day)
The 50p tax was bringing in extra money and had not been in place very long when they cut it. A massive tax cut for the rich.
But the pasty tax makes better headlines and so has become the big political issue, despite being rather insignificant.
